Def Jam Rapstar DLC for January 18th, 2011

By Rebecca Smith, 5 years ago
Today there were four new songs released for all Xbox Live Marketplaces.

• LL Cool J - "Luv U Better"
• Lloyd Banks - "Beamer, Benz, or Bentley"
• N-Dubz - "Papa Can U Hear Me"
• Plies - "Shawty"

Alongside the above four, there was also one new song released today for Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Ireland, Switzerland and the UK:

• Big Punisher - "Still Not a Player"

4mm Games have also announced that they have retrospectively released some of the older N American DLC tracks into other regions. Both the "We the Best Pack" and the "Wu-Tang Pack" have now been released in all European regions. These packs are now available in all marketplaces, with the exception of Australia.

Just as a reminder, they include the following songs:

"We the Best Pack"
• DJ Khaled - "All I Do Is Win"
• DJ Khaled - "Go Hard"
• DJ Khaled - "I'm So Hood"
• The Runners - "We Run This"

Only "All I Do Is Win" and "I'm So Hood" are also available to buy separately in the European Marketplace. If you want the other two songs, then you will have to buy the song pack unfortunately.

"Wu-Tang Pack"
• Ghostface Killah - "Cherchez LaGhost"
• Method Man & Redman - "How High"
• Raekwon - "Ice Cream"
• Wu-Tang Clan - "Protect Your Neck"

In a similar problem as found with the above pack, only "How High" is available to buy separately in European regions. If you want the other three songs, then you will have to buy the song pack.

There were several other that have now been released for Australia and all European regions. These songs are now available in all regions:

• Bangladesh - "Tango & Cash"
• Danja - "Wyld Money"
• DJ Khalil - "The 15th"
• DJ Premier - "Dots"
• Shawty Low - "Dey Know"
• Soulja Boy Tell 'Em - "Crank That"
• Timbaland (ft. Drake) - "Say Something"
• Warren G - "Regulate"
• Young Dro - "Shoulder Lean"

Australia are now starting to catch up with the rest of the world, with six more songs now released there. These songs are now available in all regions:

• Diddy - "Bad Boy For Life"
• DJ Khaled - "All I Do Is Win"
• DJ Khaled - "I'm So Hood"
• Method Man & Redman - "How High"
• MIMS - "This Is Why I'm Hot"
• Sugarhill Gang - "Rapper's Delight"

One more song was released across all European regions. This song is now available in all marketplaces, with the exception of Australia:

• 9th Wonder - "IWW"

Finally one more song was released in Belgium and France:

• Public Enemy - "Can't Truss It"

In 4mm Games' final confusing move, "Can't Truss It" has now been removed from the marketplaces for Denmark, Finland, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain and Sweden. There doesn't appear to be a valid reason for the removal of the content, especially as it remains for purchase from other marketplaces. It is possible that it is just a simple error and that the song will reappear at another time.

The song packs are priced at 560 MSP, and all songs are priced individually at 160 MSP. Here is a Marketplace link for you.
