Last week, we found out that registration would be closing
for the private beta for Gwent: The Witcher Card Game
, since it wasn't going to be private for much longer. Well, CD Projekt RED have now revealed to everyone when exactly the public beta will be beginning, and they weren't kidding, it isn't going to be closed for much longer at all.
While CD Projekt while be resetting existing players' card collections — they want the sizeable amount of new players to be on a somewhat even footing after all — they do still want to reward everyone that has helped them to improve Gwent
. Here's what the closed beta players will be getting:
- Every Card Keg you purchased — we will return you the amount of Kegs you bought with real money.
- Card Kegs for Player Levels — starting from level 5, you get 2 Kegs every 5 levels.
- Card Kegs for your rank — 2 Kegs for each rank.
- All end-season rewards.
- All items granted as gifts from CD PROJEKT RED (like the gift premium Geralt card)
To prepare for the switch, the game servers will be down offline from May 22nd until the public beta for Gwent: The Witcher Card Game
then launches on May 24th on both Windows 10 and Xbox One.
