Minecraft: Story Mode - Season 2 Announcement & Release Date

Yesterday, Telltale Games released the second episode of Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy: The Telltale Series titled "Under Pressure." It seems like they continue to treat fans with the latest information on an each ongoing series. Telltale announced today that Minecraft: Story Mode - A Telltale Games Series will receive a second season.

Minecraft: Story Mode - Season Two will pick up right where the first left off. Jesse and the gang saved the world by eliminating the Wither Storm. With the freshly defeated foe, naturally, fame and glory comes to the new Order of the Stone. With new responsibilities expected from the crew, adventures haven’t exactly been their primary focus. All of this changes as Jesse obtains a new gauntlet with origins from an ancient underwater temple. Buckle up as the Order of the Stone embarks on a new journey this upcoming season.

As always, players can import their saves from the first season, bringing along every choice they’ve made prior. Crowd play is now available to gamers who wish to vote on choices. Additionally, Familiar faces from the Minecraft community such as Stampy Cat and stacyplays make an appearance. More personalities are expected but for now Telltale have their lips sealed.

No official price on the season pass or episode has been released. However, the first episode is titled "Hero in Residence" and will be available starting July 11th.
