Bomberman Live: Battlefest Bomb-Up Pack 3 Released

By Rebecca Smith,
Two more arenas and two more costumes have been added for players to destroy in their aim to blast their way to victory in https://www.trueachievements.com/Bomberman-Battlefest-x....htm. As with Pack I and Pack II, the new "Bomb-Up Pack III" DLC adds one achievement, this time for a value of 25G. As the achievement value is steadily increasing, maybe the next one will be worth 50G. We can hope, right?

A true Bomber never stops, and neither will you! The action continues in two new arenas -- Dodge spears like a true ninja in the Dojo, and take advantage of an extra life in Resurrection! Show up your opponents with the classy Matador costume or ready yourself for the field as Farmer Bomb!
The "Bomb-Up Pack III" DLC costs 240 MSP and is available for download from here.

We've got the full list of Bomberman Live: Battlefest achievements - check the list for guides to unlocking them.

1 achievement for 25G for 240MSP, and for 2 arenas on a arcade game. A bit expensive!!!

I never got why they release several DLC packs for bombermand games whenthe game is reasonably new. surely they could have just added this stuff in the game in the first place?
Imagine if Nagato had a panda? That'd be different :3

Wow... so only ONE achievement with each of these Bomberman packs? This DLC crap is only going to keep getting worse and worse as each developer figures out, "This can be a cash cow for us. Let's hold back some content from the game and just release it in the future."

Got to milk the money somehow. This way they think they can make more profit by selling DLC which was already most likely included with the initial download.

Whats the betting they'll keep releasing these DLC's until they reach the max achievements?

The original Bomberman Live had three Bomb Up packs, if I recall correctly. When I saw they were adding packs to this game, my assumption was that we'd be getting three packs again. This and, since they are adding gamerscore this time, it's logical that they would increase the total for this game to 250gs. Now that both are true, pack three will likely be the final one.

Keep in mind, also, that this game was developed long before games like Trials and Magic started topping the old 250gs limit. Battlefest was announced shortly after the NXE introduced avatars, and the final build of this game has been ready to go for a good chunk of a year. It's also no coincidence that this game finally saw the light of day only shortly after the new Kinect avatars launched in November. That would avoid the need for a compatibility patch, had the game been released just a few months prior.

Any achievement limits, with regards to this game, were utilized in the "250gs is the maximum" days. This is not to say they couldn't add some more on, assuming the DLC packs sell extremely well. I can't imagine they are, however. The delays for this game, along with most reviewers saying it hasn't changed enough from the original title, can't be helping either the base game or the DLC to sell.

Kinda a rip off. Especially when compared to the article before this that announced a DLC that gives 3 achievements for 160MSP.
