Developer Puny Astronaut Reveals Skye

By Lexley Ford,
Puny Astronaut, a team of eight soon-to-be-graduates from Abertay University in Dundee, Scotland, has revealed their first game, Skye. The team has described the title as a “relaxing exploration game” set in a world that “couldn’t be happier to see you”.

Players will take control of the titular flying dragon, Skye, “dashing through dandelions, strumming crystal chimes, and diving for pearls in a sprawling coral reef”. According to the team, there is “no wrong way” to approach the game and players will be able to explore and enjoy the world at their leisure. Skye has been designed for everyone to enjoy from children, families, and casual gamers, to anyone else who is looking for a different experience or is feeling “burnt out” by the usual barrage of explosions.

Below is a short video of Alpha footage to give you an idea of what Skye will play like:

We also have a selection of screenshots that show off the title's unique art style:

Skye will be available on Xbox One sometime in Autumn 2017.

We don't have them yet, but we'll publish a story as soon as we pick up the Skye achievements.
