Xbox One X is $499 and Will Retroactively Enhance Games

By Kevin Tavore, 6 months ago
Microsoft announced the Xbox One X earlier today at the start of their conference. We already knew of the console as Project Scorpio, but the name solidifies that it's finally on its way. Continuing on, Microsoft's conference focused on tons of games, most of which would be enhanced on the Xbox One X, but one of the biggest pieces of news is that games we already own will receive patches that retroactively add support for the Xbox One X. This means you'll already have a collection of games that will soon be 4k:

Scorpio

Perhaps even more importantly, the price in US dollars has been announced. The Xbox One X will launch on November 7th for $499.
