This week Microsoft finally unveiled Project Scorpio's real name — the Xbox One X. Since then, there has been no shortage of both AAA and indie developers stepping up to the plate with the news their titles will support the 4K capabilities of the new system. Add Hi-Rez Studios to the list.
The developer has announced their third-person MOBA SMITE and their first-person shooter Paladins: Champions of the Realm will be running at native 4K resolution, 60 FPS at Xbox One X's launch.
They released a video for each game showing off the new tech, noting in each video description that the footage shown is "captured from an Xbox One X dev kit."
Both titles are already out and playable on Xbox One — Paladins is in open beta and SMITE is fully released.
Hi-Rez said they'll be playable in 4K from "day one" of the Xbox One X, which is November 7th.
