New Character Spotted in Mortal Kombat Vid

The fine folks over at IGN have gotten their hands on a new video from Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and NetherRealm Studios that details one of the new, special attacks that will be featured in their upcoming release, Mortal Kombat.

Called the "X-Ray Attack", the move set allows fighters to do direct damage to bones and internal organs. While this feature was revealed at E3 last year, the new video shows several fighters (some unannounced as of now) in action. While this isn't a confirmation of announcement (look no further than Frank West Cut From Marvel v Capcom 3 for proof) it does lend credence to the possibility that Stryker will be in the upcoming release. Enjoy!

Mortal Kombat is set for an April 19th release in the States while friends across the pond in Europe get it at midnight on "Mortal Monday", April 18th.
