You can already tell from what we've seen so far that Agents of Mayhem
is going to be ram-packed with over-the-top explosive action and characters with huge personalities and egos. Dubbed to be "Magnum Sized Action", new characters have been revealed along with details on one of the characters, multiple pieces of art, a new gameplay trailer, a stream, and highlights of the stream.
LEGION has taken over control of all of the nations in the world and one of their cities Seoul, which they did occupy, has been taken back by the Agents. One of the team members, Gremlin, who's a machining expert and resident engineer, runs the R&D lab of the city. Terminally positive, Gremlin has a natural curiosity for machines and uses this to create deadly weapons used by MAYHEM. The Gutterball Gun unleashes a large barrage of giant electrified balls that wipe out anything in their path and the Cabbit Bomb can turn enemies into an explosive cabbit. These are just two examples of Gremlin's crazy arsenal that despite not being the most safe weapons to use, they are guaranteed to make an effective splash. These weapons can be found around the city hidden in caches.
Take a look at more of the weapons, characters, enemies, vehicles, stunts, and plenty more in the magnum sized action trailer:
the reveal of Saints Row
's Johnny Gat last month but he can be seen again presumably working on his day off in his slick Hawaiian shirt. The newly revealed character Ariadne, who's apparently a crazy female, can also be seen in the following art:
Lastly, developer Volition hosted a stream a few days ago where the team allow us to meet Agent Red Card. Senior writer Matt Entin, tech animator Evan Cox, senior designer Ryan McCabe, and voice actor Dave B. Mitchell all take part in the stream which goes on for nearly an hour and fifteen minutes as they talk about the agent and showcase art, pre-production, desgns, and more:
If you don't have that amount of time to spare, why not check out the highlights of the stream instead which only lasts for a minute and 14 seconds:
