Ascanio Entertainment has released a new teaser trailer for upcoming vehicular arena shooter Crash Force
, which will be bringing hovercraft havoc to Xbox One later this year.
is a fusion of multiple genres, combining arena shooter gameplay with elements of racing and RPG games in multiplayer battles in three game modes across three maps. The developer describes it as "a sci-fi mix of Quake
, Unreal Tournament
, Twisted Metal
and Rocket League
if it was directed by Michael Bay". Crash Force
offers players a choice of three classes of hovercraft, with every class containing one vehicle from each of three size categories. The nine available hovercrafts each have four skills, two of which are based on vehicle class and two of which are unique; for example, Aquila class hovercrafts have time manipulation abilities, such as travelling a couple of seconds back or forwards in time and slowing down time for enemies around them. The other skills may be offensive, defensive or a utility ability, such as sacrificing health to gain an increase to speed and fire rate. Hovercraft skill trees have three Aviation Points, with a point awarded every 30 levels up to the level cap of 90.
All hovercrafts are equipped with a rapid-fire low damage primary weapon and a slow firing but powerful secondary weapon. Ammunition pick ups are available for both weapon types, and hovercraft energy must be periodically replenished from energy refill pads. Crash Force
game modes for Xbox One have not yet been confirmed, but based on the game's Steam description we expect to see 3v3, 4v4, 5v5, 6v6, and one against all modes for 6-12 players.Crash Force
is coming soon to Xbox One.
