Tony Hawk's Pro Skater HD Possibly to Be Delisted

The Tony Hawk series has gone from topping the charts more than a decade ago to an afterthought with the latest — and buggiest — installment, Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 5. A Steam announcement warns of the imminent delisting of the HD throwback to the earlier Tony Hawk games, Tony Hawk's Pro Skater HD.

According to the announcement, which was posted directly by Steam creator Valve, "This is your last chance to buy Tony Hawk ™s Pro Skater ® HD on Steam- the game will be retired from the store on July 17th." While it hasn't been explicitly stated anywhere that the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions will also be affected, anyone interested in purchasing the game should take note of the likely possibility the other versions will meet the same fate. Not to be forgotten, the title also had one DLC package — the "HD Revert Pack" (no new achievements were added with the DLC).

The game has been put on a fire sale on Steam at 80% off and is currently 75% off on Xbox 360. There is no sale on the PS3 version as of this writing. The DLC is not discounted on any platforms as of this writing. If you are at all concerned about adding this one to your game collection, be sure to heed the Steam warning and snatch it up on your platform of choice before it's too late.
