Pharaonic Getting a Deluxe Retail Copy

By Andrew Ogley, 10 months ago
Pharaonic is a game that released last year in digital format only as part of the ID@Xbox program. It's described by many as a side-scrolling Dark Souls in 2.5D and is set in ancient Egypt. Intriguing as that might sound, it seems to have slipped under many people's radar with only 276 of our members having played it.

Publisher SOEDESCO is hoping to give the title a second lease of life in the form of a deluxe physical version. The disc-based version will contain the original game and a physical copy of the soundtrack from the title. The OST contains 12 Egyptian themed tracks that have been composed by Carlos Viola, who is known for his work on the survival horror title The Last Door. SOEDESCO has also released a new trailer showing gameplay and confirming the release date.

Pharaonic Deluxe Edition will be arriving on the Xbox One on September 22nd.
