The Evolution Championship Series, or EVO, always brings news for fighting game fans. As the publisher of many famous fighting game series, Bandai Namco is always sure to partake in the event. This year they took to the stage to reveal Trunks as the next character to join the Dragon Ball FighterZ
was just announced
at last month's E3 to the excitement of DBZ and fighter fans alike.
While also showcasing Trunks' play style, the trailer gives another glance at some of the opponents players may face off against and the environments in which they'll fight.
Also announced was a closed beta for the title. There wasn't much information yet, but Bandai Namco did say sign ups will begin on July 26th, advising gamers to "stay tuned" for more information in the coming days. Nine members of the roster — including Trunks — will be playable during the beta.Dragon Ball FighterZ
is currently scheduled for launch in early 2018.
