Season Pass Owners Can Test Out Final Fantasy XV's Comrades Expansion

By Kelly Packard, 3 months ago
Allowing players to team up in multiplayer to take on quests together, the "Comrades" expansion is the next big thing for Final Fantasy XV. Today Square Enix has announced a testing phase that will allow season pass owners to take the expansion for a spin before it launches. Some new screenshots have also been released showing off the content.

To be eligible to try "Comrades," you do need to be a season pass owner as well as an Xbox Live Gold member. If you meet these qualifications, you'll be able to download and take it for a spin from Thursday, August 3rd to Tuesday, August 8th. The final version launches later this year.

According to Square Enix, "the content of the test version will be different to the final product" so "it will not be possible to carry data over from the test to the final version."
