The racing genre has constantly found a way to remain relevant. With multiple sub-genres available, there are many options for players to keep racing so interesting. Competitive players aiming to climb leaderboards can stick to simulation, while casual fans looking for a good time can stick to arcade racers. Gamers who find themselves in the middle may want to keep an eye out for Lightfield.

Lightfield is a hyper-futuristic omni-directional precision racing title developed by Lost in the Garden. It’s a cross breed of competitive and arcade racer with a twist of free flying. With seven tracks, three modes, and an interesting visual appeal, it seems like this title will shake up a racing subgenre or two. Check out five minutes of gameplay below.

Lightfield is coming to consoles soon.
