PES 2018 Partners With Argentine Football Association

By Rebecca Smith, 10 months ago
When it comes to the battle between FIFA and Pro Evolution Soccer, official licenses have a very important part to play. Every licence gained is seemingly a victory over the opponent. As such, Konami was proud to reveal that Pro Evolution Soccer 2018 has partnered with the Argentine Football Association so that all of the Primera División clubs will be faithfully represented in the game.

As you may have seen in the trailer above, PES will include Club Atlético Independiente and Club Atlético River Plate. Meanwhile, Club Atlético Boca Juniors returns as an official partner for another year. As well as screenshots of those three clubs, you can see a full list of the Primera División clubs below.

Of course, partnering with the official clubs means official representations of stadiums too. Boca Juniors' La Bombenera, formally known as Estadio Alberto J. Armando, is one of those stadiums.

We also have screenshots of River Plate's El Monumental, or Estadio Monumental Antonio Vespucio Liberti to give it its full name.

With just over a month left to release on September 12th in North America and September 14th in Europe and Asia, will Konami manage to squeeze in any more licence reveals?
