With all the business of splitting from Square Enix well and truly behind them, IO Interactive continues to work on HITMAN
with a new content schedule released by the Danish developer for later this month. There's no Elusive Target this month — the first month this has happened since April last year — but as a replacement there are the debuting player-curated Featured Contracts. Similar to the Featured Contracts curated by IO themselves, the one key difference is given away by the name; these contracts will be picked by notable players of the game, starting with Brazilian streamer Mendietinha. There will also be ten IO curated featured contracts as well as the game's sixth challenge pack.
Looking forward, IO has said that the September update will be fairly similar in structure, focusing on a new challenge pack and Contracts Mode, with the relative calm giving the team time to prepare some rather exciting announcements for the game.
The August content for HITMAN
begins on the 11th, with the player-curated Contracts on the way later in the month.
