At this week's FIFA Ultimate Team LIVE, EA Sports unveiled Stories for FUT ICONS in FIFA 18. Stories expands the ICONS experience, giving players a chance to find up to three unique versions of some of the greatest players of all time for their FUT squads. EA Sports also announced that the legendary Ronaldinho will be joining the previously revealed ICONS: Pele, Ronaldo Nazario, Thierry Henry, Lev Yashin, and Diego Maradona.

You can check out some of the legends in action in the new FUT ICONS trailer below:

Ronaldinho’s ICON Stories will highlight three major points in his career. First is 2002, when he was a member of Paris St. Germain and on his way to winning the 2002 FIFA World Cup with Brazil. Next is Ronaldinho in 2010, when he brought home the title for Milan in his final season with the club. Last is prime Ronaldinho, a version from 2004 when he dominated La Liga and secured top honours as the FIFA World Player of the Year.

EA Sports also revealed that Rui Costa, Patrick Vieira, Rio Ferdinand, Michael Owen, Deco, Alessandro Del Piero, Carles Puyol, and Peter Schmeichel will also be joining the list of ICONS. Each ICONS Story will feature its own unique ratings, so players will have the chance to discover variations for each legendary player and build the squad of their dreams.

FIFA 18 will be available worldwide on September 29th. Fans can get their hands on the full game before launch day with the Ronaldo Edition and ICON Edition both granting three days of early access, letting them start playing on Tuesday, September 26th. EA Access members will be able to enjoy up to 10 hours of play time starting Thursday, September 21st as part of the EA Access Play First Trial.
