In the TrueAchievements community, puzzle-platformer Q.U.B.E. Director's Cut
is well known as being one of the easiest titles to complete on Xbox One. However, looking beyond the gamerscore, it was also a fairly well-received title with our users rating it a modest 3.5 stars on average. Toxic Games has invited us to take another peek at Q.U.B.E. 2
, their upcoming sequel.Q.U.B.E. 2
"puts players in the shoes of British archaeologist, Amelia Cross, on a beautiful yet mysterious alien planet." Glimpses of this environment can be seen in a quartet of screenshots that have been released:
The gameplay style will still focus on the "shifting, environmental puzzles" of the first installment. However, the developer hopes to give players a deeper narrative that revolves around "Amelia’s own intimate story and her quest for survival." Toxic Games also thinks gamers will find the new puzzles less linear and will get a sense they can "put their own stamp on solutions."

isn't out until 2018. However, the developer team will be attending Gamescom from August 22nd-24th "giving an early look at the game," so look for more details around that time.
