Behind the Scenes Look of the Scanning Process in WWE 2K18

As October slowly approaches, so does the release of WWE 2K18. In the meantime, wrestling and gaming fans alike are treated to the third instalment of the WWE2KDev spotlight series. This time around, fans see just how 2K Games make the superstars look so realistic. As an added bonus, the first official screens are placed towards the end of the video.

WWE 2K creative director Lynell Jinks gives a lengthy introduction but eventually connects us with lead character artist Jonathan Gregory. The video primarily shows the general process of how WWE superstars are scanned into the game. In the video, John Cena is shown in the booth where cameras capture images from many angles; when combined, these create a model and texture of the superstar. Check out the process below.
