Voodoo Vince: Remastered Update Removes Point of No Return

By Kelly Packard, 1 month ago
Developer Beep Games has updated Voodoo Vince: Remastered, eliminating the point of no return that stopped users from revisiting prior levels after they reached the final boss area. The patch is targeted at achievement hunters, who were unable to return to levels — and therefore unable to mop up any unfound collectibles, of which Voodoo Vince has hundreds — once they had set foot past a certain point.

The predicament has been addressed by adding a trolley stop, Voodoo Vince's transportation system, to the Inside The Kosmobot level, which should "allow you to backtrack and get those last few achievements and/or collectibles — even if you've beaten the game." The patch also fixed bugs and "optimized code to improve how some levels play."

According to Voodoo Vince's official Twitter account, the patch is live now on Xbox One, though it's not clear if it's available yet for Windows 10. So what are you waiting for? Go find those remaining Skull Pages, Dust Bags, Power Skulls and Voodoo Powers if you haven't already!
