Xbox's Play Anywhere program, known for giving gamers both an Xbox One and Windows 10 copy with one purchase, continues to grow its selection of offerings. At Gamescom Microsoft announced three additions to Play Anywhere that hail from a surprising place — last-gen's Kinect library.
Originally known as Kinect: Disneyland Adventures
and Kinect Rush: A Disney/Pixar Adventure
, Disneyland Adventures
and Rush: A Disney Pixar Adventure
have ditched the requirement of the Kinect peripheral — though they will still be compatible — and have been revamped for the current generation with 4K Ultra HD and HDR capabilities for the Xbox One X.
The first, Disneyland Adventures
(screenshots above), offers an interactive look at a Disney theme park without having to leave the home. Visit 18 different locations from the park, interact with famous Disney characters and more.Rush: A Disney Pixar Adventure
brings to life six Disney-Pixar film collaborations: The Incredibles
, Toy Story
and now Finding Dory
, which was not included in the original game. The gameplay features puzzling, exploring, racing and other activities. Screenshots have been released to show off the upgraded graphics:
Both games launch on October 31st and will retail for US$29.99 / €29.99 / £19.99 each.
