Warhammer: End Times - Vermintide
has a fairly literal title. As the name would imply, the game takes place in the Warhammer
universe, and there are a lot of vermin, called Skaven, that need killing. That's where you and three of your friends come in. The co-op combat of the first was something of a cult classic on PC, and the console community enjoyed it too, with our users giving it an overall rating of 3.7 out of five stars. Developer FatShark has now teased the sequel, Warhammer: Vermintide 2
FatShark says the first sold over 1.5 million copies between all its platforms. We don't know much about the second outside of a brief teaser trailer and five screenshots that are up on Vermintide 2
's official Steam page:
However, a full reveal is scheduled for October 17th at 7 p.m. CET on FatShark's Twitch channel
, so mark your calendar if you were a fan of the first. The roster of official platforms has not been announced, but the game is coming to "PC via Steam and consoles."Check out our The Best Xbox First Person Shooters Available in 2018 article for a compilation of other great games in this genre.
