By Andrew Ogley, 9 months ago
Fans eagerly awaiting the upcoming wrestling title, WWE 2K18, will be pleased to hear that they will be able to be a little more adventurous in their grappling with this year's installment of the franchise. In the latest video in the spotlight series, WWE 2K creative director Lynell Jinks reveals how newly introduced and some newly expanded mechanics work.

In the short clip, Jinks explains how the new carry mechanic works and how players will be able to use it against their opponents. Jinks also explains how you can escape it too, for those occasions that you might find yourself on the receiving end. If this wasn't enough, the drag system has also been expanded and some of the new moves can be seen in video.

Wrestling fans will be able to get to grips with the new carry and drag mechanisms when WWE 2K18 hits the Xbox One console on October 17th.
