NBA 2K18: The Prelude "Developer Opted Not to Make Achievements"

By Dave Horobin, 13 days ago
When NBA 2K18: The Prelude was announced just under a month ago, many of us began to wonder if the completion would be as quick and easy as last year's release.

NBA 2K18: The Prelude

When the game hit the Xbox Store yesterday, like many of you, we waited patiently for the achievement list to go live before playing, but sadly it doesn't look like any will be arriving, with Xbox Support confirming on Twitter that the "developer opted not to make achievements for that title."

It's an odd decision considering last year's The Prelude included achievements, and it's made more surprising taking into account that the PlayStation version of the game includes trophies.

We've reached out to our contact at 2K to see if this was a mistake or if the developer deliberately decided to skip putting achievements in the game. As of yet, we haven't had a response, but we'll be sure to update the story if we hear anything back.
