A short time ago, Albino Moose Games released Spooky's Jump Scare Mansion
on PC, described as "1,000 rooms of cute terror." While adorable pieces of bread and cute kitties coming out of the woodwork might not sound frightening, if the user comments on the Steam page
are to be believed, "cute terror" quickly turns into actual terror, and there are quite a few jump scares to be had.
The original game released in 2015. The demand for cute terror was high enough that Albino Moose revamped the game earlier this year as Spooky's Jump Scare Mansion: HD Renovation
, recreating it in the Unity engine, updating the graphics, adding controller support and VR support, bundling it with all the DLC and more. That controller support will come in handy, as the title has now been announced for Xbox One. Spooky's Jump Scare Mansion
does not have a release date as of this writing, but it is coming soon to Xbox One.
We don't have them yet, but we'll publish a story as soon as we pick up the Spooky's Jump Scare Mansion: HD Renovation achievements.
