The biggest surprise to come out of PAX 2010 was the announcement that Duke Nukem Forever
was still in development, with the reigns now firmly in the hands of Borderlands
developer Gearbox. Not only that, the game was actually playable. Since then, a reveal trailer
has been released, but the first new screenshots are only just appearing:
Fans will have noticed that Duke hasn't lost any of his trademark humour over the last fourteen years.Duke Nukem Forever
is due to be released on May 3rd, 2011 in North America, and on May 6th in Europe. Buyers of the Borderlands
Game of the Year edition will have early access
to the game through a demo.
