Happy Wars' Fifth Anniversary Update to Add Achievements and More

Developer ToyLogic is celebrating the fifth anniversary of the original version of Happy Wars. In honor of the milestone, an update will be going out for the Windows 10 and Xbox One versions that will add new achievements, 15v15 Battles in Xbox One Quick Matches and more. There will be events running in the weeks following the anniversary, and ToyLogic promises you can "look forward to free stuff."

If you've long packed away your Xbox 360, don't worry: the new achievements are only for the Xbox One and Windows 10 versions, which share an achievement list. The team detailed the rest of their event plans on the game's official website:

New Event: Colosseum
  • The Colosseum is a special mode that pits small teams of gladiators against one another.

  • The Boss Mission World Alliance is back!
  • Expect it to be even bigger and better than before! Prepare yourself for a desperate battle!
  • It is fun not to know for sure what will you get, but this time you might get some unusual items like High-grade stickers, Star Fragments, or Big Hammers…!
Social Media Campaign
  • To celebrate Happy Wars 5th anniversary, we’re holding a campaign across our various social media accounts!
  • For this event, we want to hear what *your* Happy Happy Wars moment is.
