TA Playlist for October 2017, Alien Isolation, Has Begun

By Mark Delaney, 2 months ago
The Halloween season is undeniably here now as our calendars have all turned to October. This Halloween, we'll all be dressing up as Amanda Ripley, daughter of Ellen, as we board Sevastopol in search of our long-lost mother. With over 40% of the votes in September's poll, the community has picked Alien: Isolation as our next game for TA Playlist.

The Trigger 4

Join us in the Playlist Hub this month as we peek around corners, duck under tables, and squeeze ourselves into lockers as we play prey to the xenomorph for the next 31 days. Alien Isolation arrives just in time for that classic October atmosphere and as always all versions of the game will qualify for participation if you're looking to level up your TA Playlist badge. Whether it's your first time playing, you're coming back to find the courage to finish, or you've loved your time aboard Sevastopol and want to see it all again, our forums, stats, game clips, and more should have something for everyone.

If you're wondering where the podcast for last month's game, Dark Souls is, fear not. It will be posted tomorrow. You can subscribe to our feed via this link or catch it embedded on site tomorrow morning. While you're listening, consider leaving us a rating and review to tell us how we're doing.

What does Isolation add to the story universe of Alien? Just how scary is it? How well does the game balance its hide-and-seek with its limited combat scenarios? These questions and many more will be the focus of a month of coverage. So join us as we dissect Alien as the alien dissects each of us!
