Not many games have an update that has been in development for nine months
. Then again, not every game has its code completely re-written on consoles and mobile to make them more in line with the PC experience, as is the case with Terraria
's 1.3 update. Regardless of the reasons, a nine month wait is still likely to having fans asking questions, so Liz Lambert and Zach Cieslinski from developer Pipeworks Studio sat down to answer some of them on video.
As well as answering some questions, the 15 minute long video doubled as a gameplay showcase for what's on the way, including some new end-game content.
While there's no definitive release date yet, the team did say that they can "see the light at the end of the tunnel" and are putting the final touches on optimisation and performance before sending it away for certification, so hopefully sooner rather than later!
