Vote Now for November 2017's TA Playlist Game

By Mark Delaney, 1 year ago
For a lot of people, November means spending time with the family, shopping for Christmas and other end of year holidays, and working on their backlog of 2017 games so they can weigh in for the Game of the Year awards. With such a busy schedule in mind, we didn't want to overwhelm our regular and always expanding TA Playlist community with games that take up all their limited free time in November. That means the latest Playlist poll features four games we feel can definitely carry a month of talk and an episode of the podcast, but none of them will take up more than a few short sessions of playtime.

Call it an indies month if you'd like, though a few of the games we've chosen were eventually picked up for publishing by major industry players. We hope these four games each represent the potential of what creators can do even without the deepest of pockets. Without further preamble, here are the next four games. Go pick one!

Firewatch Banner

Firewatch is a single-player first-person mystery set in the Wyoming wilderness. You’ll explore a wild and unknown environment, facing questions and making choices that can build or destroy the only meaningful relationship you have.

Inside Logo

Hunted and alone, a boy finds himself drawn into the center of a dark project.

Ori and the Blind Forest

Ori 1

The forest of Nibel is dying. After a powerful storm sets a series of devastating events in motion, Ori must journey to find courage and confront a dark nemesis to save the forest of Nibel.

The Turing Test

The Turing Test

The Turing Test is a first person puzzler that explores the phenomena of consciousness and challenges the meaning of human intuition. Take control of Ava Turing, an engineer for the International Space Agency (ISA), and progress through a narrated story of introspection and morality whilst uncovering the hidden mysteries of Europa.
Each of the four games is available only on Xbox One, though Ori does offer an achievement stacking opportunity with its Definitive Edition. Additionally, The Turing Test is coincidentally a featured Game with Gold this month starting today. This poll was designed much earlier than that news was revealed, so take that as you will. As always, polls close in one week. What will we be playing next, TA?
