When Capcom Heroes
— an upcoming free mode for Dead Rising 4
where Frank plays as various famous characters from Capcom's heritage — was initially revealed, the Japanese publisher promised more characters than the initial six revealed at the time. They've kept that promise with the announcement of five famous Street Fighter
characters available in the new mode: Cammy (who was part of the initial reveal), Ryu, M. Bison, Mecha-Zangief and Akuma.
They will, of course, have their own signature moves represented in the game, like Ryu's Shoryuken and Zangief's double lariat, all of which you can see in action in the trailer below.
Capcom has revealed there are still more characters to be announced, so feel free to sound off in the comments with who you'd like to see. You'd have to think someone from fellow Capcom zombie franchise Resident Evil
would be a shoe-in. Personally, I'm hoping for Amaterasu from Okami
, especially with the HD remaster
on the way. Regardless of who does and doesn't make it, the "Capcom Heroes" update comes to Dead Rising 4
as a free update on December 5th.
