Dragon Ball FighterZ Release Date, Screens, and Roster Additions

By Ethan Anderson, 1 year ago
Bandai Namco has been steadily releasing new information on the upcoming Dragon Ball FighterZ. This time, they have provided a release date and two new roster additions alongside a ton of screens. The game will launch on January 26th, 2018, which is a bit earlier than the previously projected February release.

The two new roster additions are characters who were introduced earlier on in the series: Nappa and Captain Ginyu. These two villains were announced with some screens that show off Nappa's destructive power and Ginyu's ability to fight alongside the Ginyu Force.

Not much is known about the game's story mode, but the publisher has provided even more screens to give a glimpse of what's to come. There are a few screenshots that show the online lobby systems as well.

Lastly, details were given on an Ultimate Edition and a FighterZ Pass as well. The FighterZ Pass is a character pass that provides access to eight additional playable characters that will be released post-launch. Dragon Ball FighterZ Ultimate Edition is a digital offer that includes the game, the FighterZ Pass, a music pack containing eleven songs from the anime, and a commentator voice pack.
