The Emperor Will Return as a Playable Character in Star Wars Battlefront II

By Ashley Woodcock, 1 year ago
The Lord of the Sith and undisputed master of the dark side, Sheev Palpatine, was a feared character to be on the look out for in matches in Star Wars Battlefront. The ruler of the Galactic Empire will unsurprisingly be making his return in Star Wars Battlefront II and will come with his fearsome and powerful abilities.

Sith Lord

With the power of the dark side, the Emperor will be a huge threat at close range with his signature Force lighting and area effect attacks. The terrifying but iconic bolts of energy that fire from the Lord's hands will be his standard attack as well as the basis for his special offensive abilities.

You'll have either dealt or felt the pain of the Emperor's chain lighting attacks from the first Battlefront. After successfully hitting a target with a lighting strike, it will then spread to strike another target and continue on so long as more enemies are within range. When used in the right place at the right time, the power can make short work of an entire squad and turn the tide of a battle quickly.

A brand new skill is the ability to summon a dark aura of Force energy that will surround the Sith's body. Not only will the aura deal damage to anyone unfortunate enough to be caught in it, but it will also slow them down too.

Lastly, the Emperor can use Electrocute to lock down a group of enemies close by. This creates an immoblizing area of energy and leaves the Sith's opponents completely open to the allies.

Master the ways of the dark side with Emperor Palpatine across all three eras of Star Wars when Battlefront II releases on November 17th.
