Black Mirror Trailers Focus on Music and Voice Acting

King Art Games has released two new trailers for their upcoming gothic horror adventure reboot Black Mirror, which builds upon the legacy of classic point and click series The Black Mirror.

The CGI footage in the first trailer has been seen before when Black Mirror was first announced, but this version highlights the vocal work of Gaelic singer Kim Carnie. She is shown singing a haunting adaptation of Christina Rossetti's poem Remember, which was translated to Scots Gaelic by Carnie and set to music by Benny Oschmann.

The second trailer previews the voice acting of Aberdeen native David Rintoul as he recorded the role of Black Mirror House butler Mr McKinnon. Rintoul has had an extensive stage and TV career, and will be familiar to many for his portrayal of Aerys Targaryen on Game of Thrones.

Please note the video below contains minor spoilers.

While fans of the original The Black Mirror games will welcome the return of the franchise, the developer has confirmed that familiarity with the previous titles isn't necessary to enjoy Black Mirror. When one of our Newshounds tried it out at PAX West, he praised the atmosphere created for players exploring a creepy mansion full of things that go bump in the night.
