Star Trek Online Season 14 - Emergence Cleared for Captains

By Ashley Woodcock, 1 year ago
The free-to-play Star Trek-based MMO Star Trek Online is ready to grant clearance to its long-serving captains, with "Season 14 - Emergence" almost ready to roll out. A new colony needs to be investigated and Starfleet Captain Geordi LaForge, voiced by LeVar Burton from Star Trek: The Next Generation, will be working alongside you to see what's new. A brand-new Fleet Holding will be waiting to be discovered, players will come face-to-face with the Tzenkethi in a Red Alert, and there will be plenty more content to dive into too.

The new season will start off with a featured episode — "Melting Pot". This takes place within a new colony in the Alpha Quadrant that was recently established by the Kentari and Lukari species. Players will check out the new colony alongside Captain Geordi LaForge and the Lukari's very own Captain Kuumaarke, voiced by Kipleigh Brown. The mission will take a turn for the worse, however, as players will discover that the colony world has not only drawn their attention but that of the Tzenkethi, a powerful militant species who've had battles with both the Kentari and Lukari in the past.

Publisher Perfect World Entertainment goes on to detail what else is in store for the new Season:

Season 14 also introduces console players to a new Fleet Holding featuring five full tiers of progression, a Tzenkethi Red Alert, two new Fleet Holding defense queues, a special fleet-driven colony defense event and a new Primary Specialization called the “Miracle Worker.” Captains can also visit the C-Store on Xbox One and PS4 to claim a free Skant and Kilt, inspired by the classic uniform style featured in Star Trek: The Next Generation.
We have a few screens to check out of some of the content to come in the latest Season:

The "Season 14" update in Star Trek Online will be available on November 14th.
