TA Playlist for November 2017 - The Turing Test Begins Today

By Mark Delaney, 1 year ago
Our eighth TA Playlist kicks off today and if you haven't yet tired from last month's venture into space, we have good news: you don't have to return those spacesuits quite yet. We'll be traveling back into outer space with November's community game, The Turing Test, beginning today and running through the end of the month.

The Turing Test 2

The Turing Test is a first-person puzzle game that draws fair comparisons to Portal. It launched in 2016 to favorable, sometimes glowing, reviews. Though its gameplay is reminiscent of Valve's surprise hit, Turing is much more story focused than its inspiration. It's really ripe for the format presented in TA Playlist. Our forums should be active as always and buzzing with philosophical discourse if all goes according to plan.

In The Turing Test, players take on the role of Ava Turing a few decades into the future. She awakens to find her team missing on one of Jupiter's satellites, Europa, and with the help of the on-board AI, T.O.M., Ava has to work through a series of rooms to find answers at the end of the puzzling trail. Shield yourself from spoilers and join us throughout November.

You can join us in the TA Playlist Hub to compare stats with the community, discuss the game at length, share game clips of you mastering or struggling with the many puzzle rooms, and level up your badge. If you missed the most recent episode of the TA Playlist Podcast you can catch it here and subscribe on iTunes. See you in the forums!
