The Surge Invites You To CREO World in Upcoming A Walk in the Park Expansion

Developer Deck13's tough-as-nails, hardcore action RPG The Surge will see its first expansion releasing for players early next month. If the base game wasn't enough of a challenge for you then the DLC, titled "A Walk in the Park", will look to test even the best fighters with its colourful, pleasant and friendly looking theme park that's actually a deadly playground.

After battling deadly machines, rogue AI and exoskeleton workers gone mad, the game's first major expansion sees players venturing into CREO World, an amusement park built by CREO for their employees and their families. Hot dogs, doughnuts and cotton candy won't be satisfying your hunger in this theme park, however; CREO World will be full of danger and disasters as you will be dining with death. Robot mascots patrol the area ready to give new visitors a deadly welcome and rescue teams have gone insane.

The park will be laid out differently from the rest of the CREO complex but will still come with branching paths and plenty of secrets to find. If you can make it through the park alive, there will be a boss waiting for you but details on the boss itself are yet to be revealed. Cut and equip 16 new weapons, sets of armour, and implants to make your character even more powerful and further customise the way you want to play.

Take a look at the challenging horrors that await you in CREO World with these new screens:

The development team has also revealed The Surge: Complete Edition, which will include all of the DLCs for the title. Pricing and details on future DLCs are yet to be revealed.

The upcoming expansion and the Complete Edition of the game will be available in early December this year.
