Bandai Namco and Dimps are preparing to satisfy third-person shooting fans early next year with their fast-paced, air-dashing, action RPG Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet
. With the release still a few months away, there's still plenty of time to learn more about what's to come. The team has revealed new details on the game's multiplayer modes.
The game will come with eight-player competitive and four-player cooperative online multiplayer modes. The Online Competitive Battles will see eight players divided into Alpha and Bravo teams. The teams will compete against one another to see who can cause the most damage to a boss character who will populate the map. Trouble will be coming from all around the players as they keep try to keep their eyes on the boss while also trying to prevent the other team from bagging themselves some points.
In Online Cooperative Battles, four players and their ArFa-sys support characters will come together to take down the enemy boss. In typical RPG fashion, players will need to make use of their unique skills and know their roles as part of the team as they work together to take down the boss.Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet
will be releasing on the Xbox One on February 23rd, 2018.
