Free DLC Announced for Ruiner

Ruiner, a fast-paced shoot 'em up from developer Reikon Games, has gone over well with both users and critics since its September launch, earning four stars in our site review and the same from users. The developer has teased new free DLC for the title on Twitter.

Ruiner

As for what the DLC includes, Reikon didn't say much about it, simply teasing that "You thought it was finished, but instead you'll get new finishers... among many other things..." However, new achievements have been scanned into the Steam version of Ruiner. One alludes to a New Game Plus option with an icon that says "NG+." One is called "Fatality" (perhaps related to these new "finishers"), one is called "Dressed to Kill" (new costumes, perhaps?) and the other has a stopwatch and is called "Faster Than a Bullet" (maybe some time trials?).

The tweet says the DLC is slated for November 20th, but it's not clear if that's the date for both consoles and PC. With the 20th only being a few days away, we'll see soon enough.
