Gun Media Details Upcoming Update for Friday the 13th: The Game By Andy Mills, 18 Dec 2017 FollowtopicsFriday the 13th: The GameFriday the 13thGun InteractiveOnline MultiplayerOnline Co-opID@XboxAction HorrorAndy Mills Gun Media continues to be hard at work on Friday the 13th: The Game. Only a week or so out from Christmas, the team has detailed an upcoming update for their asymmetrical multiplayer game. The first addition coming in this update is offline bots. Whether players want to learn the map, don't want to play online or just want to lay waste to droves of counsellors, they'll be able to do so by selecting "Offline Play". The bots will have three difficulty options — Easy, Normal and Hard — and players can have anywhere between one and seven counsellors to hunt down.A new counsellor is also joining the game. From Friday the 13th: Part III comes Sheldon "Shelley" Finkelstein, a prankster who just so happened to own Jason's original hockey mask. Judging by the trailer, the serial killer has come to take it back. There's also the addition of the Virtual Cabin 2.0 mode that will allows players to look around the cabin in (relative) safety. Gun Media did promise on Twitter that everything is not quite as it seems, however, so it sounds like there will still be at least a few scares even without Jason wandering around. There's also set to be a maximum level increase from 101 to 150. This increase will come with some additional unlocks for both Jason and the counsellors. For the counsellors, there'll be new clothing colouring options for Mitch, Fox and a couple of others. For Jason, there'll be two all-new grab kills in addition to some more bloodied variations of multiple Jasons to try out.In addition, Gun Media is also getting into the festive spirit for the next couple of weeks. From today, December 18th, through to the 23rd, players will have an improved chance of earning a Rare or Epic perk. Additionally, from the 23rd to the 27th, the chances of finding both Pamela and Jarvis tapes will also be increased. Finally on the holiday front, from December 23rd through to January 2nd, players will be able to earn double the amount of Customisation Points. It's not just new stuff either, with bug fixes and game changes also announced.
