Poll: Is Your All-Time Favorite Video Game Single Player, Multiplayer, or Both?

By Mark Delaney, 3 months ago
There's been much said about the "death" of single player games as of late. The claim that games as service will be the only game standing in years to come has been criticized heavily for being unrealistic by some, while others believe the writing is on the wall. One tangentially related data point could be what we each view as our favorite video games of all-time.

With that in mind, this week's poll asks you to share with us which mode drives the number one game in your heart. Is it a single player-only title like Mass Effect, The Legend of Zelda or Alan Wake, or is it something entirely focused on multiplayer like Overwatch or PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds? Of course, plenty of games nowadays offer both modes, and in that case you can divulge further in the comments as to which mode, if not both, is really the reason you adore your favorite game so much. Perhaps you even love a game for its offering of both game modes, like Halo 3 or Grand Theft Auto V.

However you come down in the poll, be sure to let us know which game it is you're thinking of in the comments too!
