Tennis World Tour Developer Diary Shows Us How They Capture The Action By Andy Mills, 19 Jan 2018 FollowtopicsTennis World TourTennis World TourNaconLocal MultiplayerOnline MultiplayerTennisAndy Mills It seems tennis games are like buses, you wait ages for one then two — AO Tennis and Tennis World Tour in this instance — come along at pretty much the same time. It's the latter we're focusing on today, as their recently released developer diary shows a little behind-the-scenes look at what goes into making the tennis title. Talking to creative director Etienne Jacquemain, we see how the game's animations, one of the most important aspects when aiming for a realistic tennis title, are made via motion capture work from French tennis player Maxime Teixeira. The video is entirely in French, so those of us that don't speak the language (including myself!) will want to turn on the closed captions.
