Fortnite Players Will Receive Compensation for Recent Downtime

By Kelly Packard, 11 months ago
Fortnite is coming off some weekend social issues, which made players unable to join each others' parties and led developer Epic Games to disable the team-based Battle Royale modes in the meantime. Server downtime was also an issue last week. To compensate, players will be receiving extra goodies in both the Save the World PvE mode and Battle Royale PvP mode.

Battle Royale:
  • 20 Battle Stars toward your Battle Pass progression
Save the World:
  • 1600 Seasonal Gold you can use in the Event Store
For those who have already completed the Battle Pass, Epic noted that they are "looking into ways to make this right for those who have already finished their Battle Pass" with more updates to come about that.

Expect to receive the compensation after patch V2.4.0 releases.
