Konami have released some new screenshots for upcoming XBLA sequel Rush'n Attack: Ex-Patriot
, as well as announcing the game's release date and price.
The game is a 2.5D side-scroller with an emphasis on exploration and platforming, much like http://www.trueachievements.com/Castlevania-Symphony-of....htm
. You play as special agent Sid Morrow, sent to recover a prisoner of war in a Russian military base. The game offers the player the freedom to play through the levels however they want: slow and stealthy, or loud and explosive; armed with just a knife and your martial arts skills (and plenty of combos and stealth kills!), or pickups like machine guns and grenades.
The game is being developed by Vatra Games (who are also working on Silent Hill: Downpour
), using the Unreal Engine 3.
The screenshots below show Morrow performing a "variety of assaults like a sliding ground attack, a stealth exeution attack, taking on multiple prison guards and engaging in a night time knife fight on top of a immobilized vehicle":Rush'n Attack: Ex-Patriot
is scheduled for release on March 30th, priced at 800 MSP.
