Ubisoft very recently teased
what was to come for Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege
in Year 3. As an immediate follow up to that tease, they have given us more details regarding what to expect in the update.
Outbreak is Rainbow Six Siege
's first co-op event. In it, players must face a mysterious infestation that is attacking the town of Truth and Consequences, New Mexico. The town has been quarantined, and players must choose a team of three to enter the Quarantine Zone to combat the threats within. These threats include exploding monstrosities, along with other horrors. The freakish enemies in Outbreak do not take cover as they prefer engaging in close combat.
Operation Chimera will be available on the Rainbow Six Siege
Technical Test Server starting February 19th. The Outbreak event will be playable on PC on the Technical Test Server a day later on the 20th. The update will be available on all platforms from March 6th to April 3rd.Check out our The Best Xbox First Person Shooters Available in 2018 article for a compilation of other great games in this genre.
