Those who missed the opportunity to try out the beta of Metal Gear Survive
a few weeks ago are in luck. Konami has announced that a second beta is on the way for the first Metal Gear
game following the break-up between the Japanese publisher and series creator Hideo Kojima.
The beta will be available in Japan, North America, Europe and Asia (sorry South America, Africa and Australia I guess) and will include three missions that span across two maps, all playable in four-player co-op. In addition, there will be special daily missions and players will earn rewards for participating in the beta once they've finished character creation. Of course, this is a beta so we should stress that some things may be different from the full game even this close to the game's release, and save data from this will not carry over.
Players will earn rewards for the full game like this FOXHOUND name plate... ...this rather fetching Metal Gear REX head... ...and the MGS staple, the bandana.
This second Metal Gear Survive
beta will run from Thursday, February 15th, to February 18th. The full game will then launch just a few days later on February 20th in North America and February 22nd in Europe.
