Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 Free Weekend Is Live Right Now

By Ashley Woodcock,
Developer Dimps' and publisher Bandai Namco's fighting title Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 is available to play for free right now on the Xbox One for gamers with Xbox Live Gold. The title currently sits with 4.1 out of 5 stars from 518 votes from TrueAchievements community members and was also awarded with the Best Action Game for the TrueAchievements Game of the Year 2016.

Along with the game being available to check out free, the standard edition of the game will be available to purchase with 75% off the original price and the deluxe edition will have 50% off. As always, if you check out the game during the free weekend, progress will be carried over if you decide to purchase the full version of the game.

Players will be able to develop their own warrior and then customise them with many different accessories that can be unlocked throughout the adventure. Different masters from the Dragon Ball saga will be on hand for you to train with as you encounter and do battle with all new foes as you restore the original story of the Dragon Ball series. If you have some buddies on Xbox Live who will also be taking part in the free weekend, then be sure to team up with them for the raid events that will take place. Fighting with friends will make life much easier.

If you can't get enough of the story mode and want more, on top of the discounts on the two editions of the title, the Season Pass will also be on offer with 50% off. The Season Pass comes with a variety of new playable characters, quests, more masters, accessories, costumes, skills and more.

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 can be played for free from now until Sunday, February 11th at 11:59 pm (PT).
