Xbox Game Pass on Sale for 50%+ Off for Some

Update: The deal is targeted. Not everyone will see it. The criteria for selection appears to be unclear.

Last month, Microsoft started the year off right with some good news — Xbox Game Pass’ value was set to increase thanks to the same day release of all Microsoft exclusives. That means that if you subscribe to Game Pass you’ll get access to games like Halo 6 on day 1 at no additional cost. The first exclusive to make good on their promise is March’s Sea of Thieves and now there’s never been a better time to sign up.

Right now, you can get Xbox Game Pass for a significant discount. In the US it’s $4.99 for a month instead of $9.99 and in Europe, the discount is closer to 66%. Reports indicate you can buy multiple months as well.

Purchase Xbox Game Pass From the Microsoft Store

You do need Xbox Live Gold to be eligible for the discount. The time is applied immediately and cannot be saved. Gifted Game Pass membership is not eligible for the discount.

It’s not clear how long this deal will last, so if you’re interested you may want to jump in fast.
