Bandai Namco's tentatively named MY HERO Game Project
is based on the manga/animation series My Hero Academia
. As Super Heroes and Super Villains battle it out, plenty of familiar characters from the franchise will be making an appearance. The publisher has now revealed another three characters that will appear in the title.
First up is Shoto Todoroki. He's the son of Endeavor, Earth's second strongest Hero. He's been lucky enough to inherit two abilities, that of fire from his father and ice from his mother. Determined to step out from beneath their shadows, Todoroki wishes to become known as a Hero in his own right.
Ochaco Uraraka is the second character to be revealed. She is one of the closest friends of Deku, the animation's main protagonist and one of the characters to be revealed last month
. Always wanting to inspire people, her ability allows her to manipulate gravity, bringing a whole new meaning to the word "uplifting". Her reason for becoming a Hero is simply to make enough money to give her parents a comfortable life.
The final character for today is Tenya Iida. He's a representative of Class 1-A and feels personally responsible for his classmates' safety, so uses his super speed ability to help people as much as possible. Inspired by his older brother, Iida wants to become a Hero just like him.
In the remaining screenshots, you can see the characters in action as they battle against each other and Katsuki Bakugo from the last character reveal.
It's unknown exactly how many characters will be in the game upon its final release, but we're very likely to meet more of those characters before that date. While currently known by its working title MY HERO Game Project
, the game is rumoured to be releasing as My Hero Academia: One's Justice
when it appears on Xbox One later this year.
